There’s a new standard for being sexually assaulted, one that the NFL is increasingly embracing.
But is it the right standard?
The NFL is changing its policy.
Here’s what that means for the players, coaches and owners who have long complained about harassment and violence.
1.
Players don’t get to define sexual harassment.
The league has been clear about its new sexual harassment policy.
It says that it will allow players to report incidents of sexual harassment and bullying that occur on the field, and it is now the NFL’s “duty” to report those cases to the league office.
But there are a couple of key points.
First, the league won’t define sexual assault as a physical act against a person or as a threat.
That is a position it has held since the 1990s.
That has created a problem in the workplace.
The NFLPA says that the “duty to report” does not apply to incidents that are more than two hours old.
So if a player reports an incident of a “bully” who was “banging on her teammate’s neck” and a teammate “wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses,” the player will not be considered a victim of sexual assault.
Second, players will be given a list of ways they can report harassment and assault.
That includes anonymous tips that can be made anonymous to help police identify perpetrators, but also an employee’s name, a contact’s name and phone number, the date of the incident, a league source told The Post.
That last point is crucial.
The Post reported that the league has set up a hotline for NFL players, but it doesn’t seem to have worked.
The player doesn’t have access to the information on the hotline.
So players have no way to report what happened to them.
So when a teammate is harassed, she doesn’t report it to the office, or even to her team.
“It’s a step backward,” said the player, who asked that her name not be used.
“The players are being asked to protect each other.
That’s not right.
It’s a bad idea.”
This new policy has also led to more women reporting their sexual assaults to the police.
But many NFL players have complained that the office isn’t doing enough to investigate the assaults.
And many have questioned why women who have experienced sexual assault don’t report the assault to police.
The women in this story have chosen to stay quiet about their assault because they are worried that the backlash will result in them being punished for reporting it to police or being fired.
Some women say that they are afraid to report the crime.
And there is a sense that it is acceptable to be harassed on the football field and in the locker room and at parties, and that there is no one to turn to.
The players say that it’s unfair to punish women who speak out and for who they are and what they stand for.
“I think that if you’re a woman who has been sexually harassed, or who is being sexually abused, or has experienced domestic violence, and you don’t want to report it, you don.t have the right to be in the league,” said an NFL executive who declined to be identified for fear of losing his job.
The NFL has been in touch with some of the players who have reported sexual assault or abuse to the NFL office, and has offered to pay for their medical and legal bills.
The policy also offers a path for players who are willing to go to police with the report of sexual misconduct.
But some have said that they believe the league will be too lax in enforcing its new policy and in dealing with alleged sexual assault and abuse in the future.
“We need to make sure that if an allegation of sexual violence happens, that the perpetrator is punished, that there’s accountability for the person who committed the act, and we are making sure that the law is on our side,” said a source close to the players.
The issue of sexual abuse is one that has dominated the NFL over the last few years, with a number of players coming forward and publicly identifying themselves as victims of sexual assaults or harassment.
Last year, former NFL defensive end Michael Sam came forward and said that he had been sexually abused by a teammate during the 2011 season.
In the weeks since, several players have come forward to talk about similar allegations.
In October, the Dallas Cowboys signed former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Terrance Williams, who said he was raped by a former teammate and was forced to sign a confidentiality agreement after the season.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in November that he expects the league to “make every effort” to ensure that those who commit acts of sexual or domestic violence are punished, but that “it’s a hard question to answer.”
The NFL is not the only league to be changing its policies.
Last week, the National Football League’s Commissioner and General Counsel announced that they would be launching a new program to address sexual harassment in the sports industry.
They are calling it “a
