You can watch live TV, listen to the radio and watch movies without internet access.
But you might not want to take advantage of the new streaming services for entertainment.
A recent article on Business Insider explains that some of the biggest streaming services don’t support the internet.
Here are some of their limitations: XBMC for Android: You can’t watch TV shows, movies and music on the XBMC TV app.
YouTube for Android (the iOS version of YouTube that Google acquired): The YouTube app is still available on the Google Play store, but it doesn’t support streaming.
Spotify for iOS: Spotifying is available on Spotify, but streaming is not supported.
iHeartRadio for iOS (iPhone): iGuru has a live streaming app, but the app doesn’t work with streaming.
Other streaming services support it, but not all.
Xbox Live for Xbox One: If you’re using Xbox Live Gold, you can watch a show from the Xbox app on the Xbox console.
Amazon Prime Video for Windows: You can only watch Prime Video on Xbox One, but you can access your library of films, TV shows and more.
The Xbox app doesn´t support streaming, but if you use the Xbox dashboard app, you should be able to watch streaming video.
