Rockstar has announced that they’re making a new game for PlayStation 4, and it’s called Rockstar: Death Race.
This new title is being developed for the next generation of consoles, and will be a completely new IP.
It’ll be available for PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Xbox One.
The game is set in the future and will see players racing against each other in a racing world.
The developer of the game has already said that the game is being built on the Unreal Engine 4, which means it’ll be playable in the latest games like Horizon Zero Dawn, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and The Order 1886.
Rockstar’s own Mark Rein has said that they want to “make something new, something different, something that’s a bit more exciting.”
The game’s description says, “A true racer is in your control.”
The team behind the game have said that Death Race will take place on the “Future Planet.”
Rockstar isn’t saying how much the game will cost, but it’s expected to be about $20.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a game that was based on a franchise.
In 2015, the Rockstar series reboot of Red Dead Redemption was announced for the Xbox One, but the developer never came to fruition.
That game’s release was delayed until 2019.
This game’s name has been revealed, but we haven’t seen any details about it yet.
Rockstarters next big announcement will be on the Xbox Store on August 22.
